As part of the Artefatto exhibition in collaboration with Thinc supported by the European Union this
year we have launched this photo contest for young people.
The photo contest is organized in a unique section dedicated to Trieste.
The participants must be aged between 18 and 30 (on April 12, 2015) at
the deadline of the present call for application. Participants must
describe through photographs, that are to become postcards, the city of
Trieste viewed from a "new perspective", a young and unedited Trieste.
The guideline of the contest is:"Trieste hides places and subjects that may offer exceptional ideas. To tell it through the study of a careful shot or with fast, intuitive shots, black and white or color, photo retouching will be the task of the photographers involved in Photocards Trieste. The city described will be an extra/ordinary Trieste, not only in the eyes of those who discover it for the first time, but also in the eyes of those who, in this special place, live, work, imagine, dream and desire".

To register, simply fill out the on line form on http://photocards.divulgando.e
Each participant may submit up to a maximum of 3 photos, which must not have already been awarded in other competitions.
Photos are allowed in both color and black and white or monochrome, including photo montages and images processed and graphically modified: free room for creativity!!!
Photos with signatures or watermarks are not allowed.
The works must be submitted in .jpg format
(IMPORTANT: for the high-quality pictures, the maximum weight of a single photo is 8MB – the minimum size of the smaller side is 1000px).
During the Artefatto10_Reset event, a collective exhibition of the selected photographs, in 40X30 or 30X40 format, will be also be staged. Moreover the selected photographs will be reproduced in the Artefatto 2015 catalog, indicating the name of the artists.
