View From Germany

First few days as an English woman back in Germany and all my conversations at the farmers market were around Brexit and one example went like this: (translated from German so may sound strange)
Farmer: "Where you from"?
Jtamsin: "England"
F:"Oh!? Your German is good, usually people from England just use English".
J: "It's coming back, slowly, but I need more practice"
F:"What's happening in England with "The Brexit"
J: "It's complicated. Everyday something different"
F: "Oh, it's so sad. Maybe better to be in Germany"
J:"Yes, maybe"
F:"Welcome to Munich. You are welcome here"!
