In The Heart of Winter: Homage of Folklore and Evermore

**This is a tribute to Taylor Swift and her most recent albums: Evermore and Folklore.  A sort of homage, as novelists like John Banville pay homage to authors such Henry James 19th century style, I took to my pen to try the nouveau indie genre**

Inside and outside collapse into one

Finding a light that just shone

Entwined like tree vines

Down to the roots

Spring reveals green shoots

Anew so they say

Yet cultivated always

In the heart of winter

They get wise like a thinker

Unlocked in their chambers

Deep in the soul of their dangers

Together towards Mayday

Could this be a mainstay

Unfathomable viral fears

Brings thousands to tears

Limitations of our mortality

Take us to honour our spirituality

We are not dense matter today

Anymore than yesterday

Twin flames burn bright in darkness

As dawn breaks fearful sadness
